AP Striving to attract Industries: CM

Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu today said Rs 3,000-crore investment is expected from a mega food project.

Addressing public meeting after laying foundation stone for Ultra Mega Food project at Tangdanch village under Jupadu Bangla mandal of Kurnool district, Naidu said the government would provide basic facilities at a cost of Rs 250 crore  to the Mega Food project which would pay way for jobs to the youth.

“Local youth will get jobs if industries come,” he said, adding that industries did not come up in Kurnool district as required. The TDP government would attract industries and election promises would be fulfilled”, he vowed. He also said that a six-lane road would be laid between Kurnool and Guntur districts soon. (NSS)
