AP Govt to observe Communal Harmony week from Nov 19

The Andhra Pradesh Government is planning to observe the “Communal Harmony” Campaign week from 19th to 25th November to increase awareness regarding the importance of Communal Harmony and National Integration amongst the people.

Following a notification from the Secretary National foundation for Communal Harmony, the State Government has decided to observe November 24th as ‘Flag Day’ and organise cultural programs, seminars, painting competitions, etc., in all the State Government offices to promote values of Communal Harmony.

Chief Secretary I.Y.R. Krishna Rao in a communication has directed all the District Collectors and District Magistrates to vigilantly observe the Communal Harmony campaign in their districts as per the guidelines issued by the foundation. (INN)
