AP CM appeals people against extreme steps

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu today appealed to the people not to resort to any extreme steps for special status demand for the state.

Speaking to media persons at Vijayawada after returning from national capital here on Thursday, Chandrababu said that the Centre promised to give everything and all monetary assistance we need for capital city construction and others. I have sought for special tag and though it is denied, the Centre is ready to offer more financial support to the state for capital city construction, facilities and infrastructures and projects he maintained. There is no need of panic as Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself extended complete help and succor to Andhra Pradesh state to wade out of all problems during my one and half hour meeting with him, Naidu stated.

“ I apprised Modi, union Ministers and NITI Ayog deputy chief of all issues such as loss that incurs if special tag is denied, promises of bifurcation act and people concerns and the need for financial assistance he said. Modi and other union ministers offered to provide all support to the state and we will now focus on capital city construction Naidu maintained. The chief minister exuded confidence that the Centre will offer all support to the state. (NSS)
