Unknown burglars broke into the store room of Archaeological department and decamped with the Qutub Shahi era’s cannonballs (Top Ka Golas).
According to the sources one of the staff member of Archaeological Department went to store room located in BadaBazaar in Golconda Fort,to his surprise he found the door broken and the Iron made antique Cannonballs belonging to the Qutub Shahi rule went missing.
When the news of the burglary spread,locals gathered and informed the matter to the Golconda Police station.
The police suspect that the cannonballs might be stolen sometime ago but came to light lately .The police are yet to register a case as the concerned authorities have not filed a complaint.
