Angad Paul, son of billionaire Lord Paul, falls to his death from penthouse

Angad Paul, 45, was a boss at Caparo Industries, which was forced into administration weeks ago with the loss of 450 jobs across the UK and another 1,200 in the balance.

The father of two died in a fall from his eight-storied ,penthouse home in central London as his company teeters on the
brink of collapse.

Mr Paul battles to save the business founded by his father Lord Paul. Who is ranked the 47th richest person in Britain with an estimated wealth of £2.2billion.

The Caparo Group is one of Britain’s leading companies which includes the interests from car component manufacture to hotels
and hospitality over 10,000 people were employed worldwide.

The steel industry has been rocked by the collapse in steel prices it hit hard in recent months, 16 of the 20 businesses
currently under its wing have been taken into administration.

Mr Paul, married 40-year-old lawyer Michelle Bonn in 2005. He tried to create the world’s fastest road-legal supercar, the £800,000 Caparo T1 and became chief executive of the company that has recently been savagely hit by the crisis engulfing the UK steel industry .

A Metropolitan Police spokesman said “Enquiries into the circumstances of the incident continue but it is being treated as non-suspicious at this stage.” and has taken Paul’s body for autopsy.
