Analog Mixed Signal Design – Design Engineer

Job Description:

Qualifications
B.E./M.E with 8-12years experience in Analog IP and mixed signal transistor level circuit & chip design.

Requirements:

Should have industry experience in circuit level analog design using state-of-the-art CMOS processes. Expertise should include several of the following areas:

Analog Front end block design, verilog modeling, verification and SoC support
High-performance, High speed/resolution Data converters including SAR, Flash A/D, Pipelined and oversampling
Delta Sigma Fractional PLL with Spread spectrum
Precision voltage references, LDO voltage regulators, Crystal oscillators, DC-DC converters
Continuous-time switched-capacitor filters, Programmable Gain Amplifiers
Experience with cadence tools and behavioral modeling tools verilog-AMS, Mathcad, Matlab
Experience with writing RTL for mixed signal digital block and familiarity with digital flow

Experience as design contributor involving in all phases of product definition, feasibility, IC design and simulation, layout, test and characterization.

Ability to work independently, IP ownership, team contribution, and mentoring junior engineers

Demonstrated experience in taking designs from concept to production by working with cross functional teams with good track record of first pass silicon success

Job Responsibilities:

The position is a lead engineer position and is responsible for IP development in a SoC chip platform environment supporting different product line units of Conexant.

The position requires engaging as a design team member with the specific business division on a continuous basis and be responsible for IP/product development, which are to be developed in the India Design Center. The position requires working closely with the core engineering groups such as SoC VLSI, implementation and physical design teams in order to take the designs to completion.

As a member of the Analog/Mixed-Signal group, you will have the opportunity to help define our next generation products, to utilize your design skills to research and develop new circuit topologies & solutions. You will be responsible for the design of Analog Front-End macros, high performance analog and mixed signal IP for Audio, Imaging and emerging new markets
