Amit Shah lauds PM Modi’s role in strengthening BJP in Gujarat

New Delhi, Aug. 10 : Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Amit Shah on Monday praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s role in strengthening the party in Gujarat, saying that the party never lost in the state in the last 30 years due to the efforts of the Prime Minister.

“He later joined politics, became Chief Minister and later Prime Minister. The entire nation knows him for this. I would like to tell you that his biggest contribution is development of workers as pracharak. He developed thousands of workers to work for Gujarat…..He worked to connect every section of the society with the BJP. He took the party forward and laid foundation for the future. Because of his efforts, BJP never lost in Gujarat from 1995 to 2015,” Shah said at the launch of the book ‘Sakshi Bhav’ authored by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

He further said that Prime Minister Modi had committed himself to serving the nation at an early age.

“Today, the entire world knows Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Very few people know that there is 40 years of commitment and struggle behind this….At a very young age he left family and decided to join RSS with a dedication to serve nation. He was committed to serve the nation…As pracharak, he did a lot of work during emergency, he served people and worked for sangh,” he said. (ANI)
