All steps being taken to curb corruption: Venkaiah

Union Minister for Urban Development M Venkaiah Naidu today said all possible measures have been taken to eradicate corruption in the country.

 

Speaking to mediapersons at Chennai, Venkaiah Naidu said passing of land bill is very important. “We are ready to accept if the Opposition gave any constructive  suggestions in regard to land bill. Venkaiah said the Congress government had neglected development of the country. In an indirect reference to Congress, he said, the party which is now in the Opposition, does not want any progress in the country.

The people were expressing displeasure on  the proceedings  and functioning of Parliament, Venkaiah asked and asked the Opposition to cooperate in running the session smoothly. The Union minister appealed to the Congress and Left parties to respect people’s verdict and not to create hurdles in development. (NSS)
