Air India offers personalised meals

New Delhi: National carrier Air India on Thursday said its premium class passengers on select international flights can pre-order personalised in-flight meals under the new “Order to Chef” service.

Under the new service, Air India in association with its in-flight catering partners TajSats and Sky Gourmet will reach out to first and business class passengers in advance to order their choice of meal.

The new service is currently available on Delhi-Chicago, Delhi-New York and Delhi-London flights flying out of Delhi, but the culinary selection is restricted to the existing menus.

Air India aims to extend the service to other international flights shortly, said a statement.
