Against all odds: Ayesha Jabeen gets free MBBS seat

Mohammed Jameel Husain and his wife Saba Fatima have proved the slogan ‘small family, happy family slogan’ wrong. The couple has 12 children including 8 girls and 4 boys and all are getting education. Their eldest daughter Ayesha Jabeen has got admission in MBBS in Shadan Medical College last week. The studious girl through her brilliant educational performance has shown the world that Muslims do not lack potentials; they just need proper guidance.

And she got the guidance and encouragement from none other than Siasat editor Mr. Zahed Ali Khan who not only encouraged the girl but Siasat sponsored her education.

Ayesha Jabeen R/O of Nawab Saheb Kunta passed SSC from St. Marx Boys Town, Jahanuma with 82 percent. She secured 969 marks in intermediate while studying from Narayana Junior College, Charminar. Ayesha Jabeen passed from KG to Intermediate with flying colours. This thought never distract her from pursuing education that her father works as daily wage earner and her mother gets just 100 rupees for embedding stones on the sarees. She always believed that there is nothing wrong in being poor; what is wrong is lacking education. She secured 4457th rank in EAMCET and got admission in MBBS. She attributed her success to being obedient to parents, being punctual in offering Namaz and hard work. She took long term EAMCET coaching from MS Malakpet.

Ayesha told that her younger sister Atufa Jabeen is doing intermediate from Gayatri College and aspires to become an IPS officer. Third sister Adeeba Jabeen is doing Hifz from Jamia Riyadul Banat. She has memorised 27 paras. 4th sister Afiya Jabeen is studying in 10th class while 5ths sister Arshiya Jabeen in 7th class. Brother Muzzamil Husain is the student of 6th class in Iqra High School, and Shaziya Jabeen, Mohammed Mustafa Husain, Ayath Jabeen Ayan Jabeen and Mujtaba Husain are in 5th, 3rd, LKG respectively. The youngest one is Meraj Husain. Ayesha’s mother Saba says that they don’t have Television in their house. She avoids attending parties because of her large family. She doesn’t afford to give gifts as she has to save the money for children’s education.

Jameel Hasan believes their children as their asset and he hopes that Almighty Allah will make all their 12 children highly educated. Ayesha Jabeen with her outstanding performance has proved that education can change the fate of human being.
