Washington D.C, Dec 7 : Adele’s album “25” has broken another record, selling 1.16 million units in the United States in its second week after a massive debut.
The Grammy winner’s comeback album 25 easily stayed put in the number one spot on the Billboard 200 countdown, Contactmusic reported.
25 rocketed to the top of the Billboard 200 last weekend (29Nov15) with a record-setting 3.38 million sales, sailing past the previous single-week sales record, set by ‘NSYNC’s No Strings Attached in 2000, in just three days.
Far behind in the number two position is Justin Bieber, whose former number one record Purpose shifted 211,000 units, but managed to stay in second place. (ANI)
