ACB can quiz anyone in cash row: Min

Hyderabad: Telangana Transport Minister P Mahender Reddy today said the Anti Corruption Bureau can interrogate anyone with regard to Cash-for-Vote case.

In an apparent reference to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, Mahender Reddy stated that the ACB can issue notices to anyone in this case. He made this statement at a time when Telangana ACB sleuths have given notices to Kondal Reddy, driver of Nara Lokesh, son of Chandrababu Naidu to unravel the truth behind the episode of cash transaction in the case.

The Minister told mediapersons at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport while departing for Delhi on a two-day trip to participate in the International Transport Conference. The investigating agency can issue notices to anyone, irrespective of their stature in the infamous cash for vote case, he stated. It is learnt that the ACB will issue notices to Chandrababu in the cash for vote case soon. He also stated that the bifurcation of RTC will be completed in two to three months. (NSS)
