Abducted college girl rescued by Gurgaon Police

Gurgaon: The girl, who was “abducted” from outside her college in Gurgaon this afternoon, has been rescued.

Gurgaon Police Commissioner Navdeep Virk told the media that the girl has been safely rescued and handed over to her family.

He said the three accused have been identified and added that they would be arrested soon.

Virk said the accused and the girl knew each other. “The culprits and the victim girl knew each other…At this stage, it would be wrong to reveal more details,” Virk said.

“The girl is now safely at her home. Three accused have been identified. We have detained them and an investigation is on,” Gurgaon commissioner of police Navdeep Singh Virk said.

The Police Commissioner, however, refused to divulge further details.
