AAP a ‘nonsense’ party: BJP

New Delhi: In an apparent reference to Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal coming down on Prime Minister Narendra Modi while demanding resignation, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Wednesday said that they don’t pay much attention to a party makes no sense.

“This is a nonsense party and we don’t pay much importance to them. They are unable to digest their food if they don’t put allegations on us,” Union Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi told ANI.

“If we see then everyday there is a false and baseless allegation by Aam Aadmi Party against one or the other minister. As far as Arun Jaitley is concerned, he has always been honest. If they will see the ground, they will stop making statement in the air,” he added.

On a day when Prime Minister Modi defended Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, who has been accused by the AAP of corruption in Delhi’s cricket body, the DDCA, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal came down heavily on the Prime Minister and demanded his resignation saying the CBI raid at his office was conducted to ‘help Arun Jaitley’

Speaking at the Delhi assembly, Kejriwal added, “BJP leaders have told me in private, whenever my name is taken, Prime Minister Modi’s blood boils.”
