AAP to expose alleged corruption in HPCA: Sanjay Singh

Shimla: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) would expose the alleged corruption and irregularities in Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA), national spokesman of the party Sanjay Singh today said.

“Corruption and irregularities have allegedly been committed in HPCA like in DDCA. All the documents have reached Delhi and we would expose these (documents) soon,” Singh told mediapersons here today.

He further alleged that serious irregularities have come to notice in DDCA and contracts were awarded to 14 fake companies but efforts are being made to create obstructions in the functioning of Enquiry Commission appointed by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, tolook into the charges.

Alleging that Rajendra Singh, an IAS officer of Delhi government was targeted to terrorise those speaking against corruption and nothing came out even after eight days of questioning, Singh said that “nobody can browbeat us and no corrupt person would be spared”.

He said that the report on the basis of which Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley was claiming “clean chit” was not correct as no names have been mentioned in it.

Singh said that AAP has started preparations for 2017 Assembly polls in Himachal Pradesh and the party is being strengthened and geared up.

Charging that both the BJP and Congress were not serious about combating corruption, Singh said that cases have been framed against leaders of the opposition party by both the governments but nothing has come out and it was because of this reason, former BJP MP, Rajan Sushant quit the party and joined AAP.
