‘AAP is doing more harm than good’: Agarwal

New Delhi: Congress leader J.P. Agarwal on Thursday lashed out at the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) for giving contracts of the government advertisements to Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia’s relatives.

“If the issue has been raised then it should be investigated because the budget is huge. It is a budget of 5.5 crore rupees. There should be a detailed enquiry as to what is the truth in this and what are the facts,” said Agarwal.

The Congress leader alleged that the AAP was doing more harm than good for the city.

“From the time they have come to power, they are doing exactly the opposite of what they had promised. I don’t understand if they are doing good for the city or bad. They have done nothing good,” he added.

Agarwal also took a jibe at AAP leader Somnath Bharti for behaving like an absconder following the domestic violence case levelled against him by his wife Lipika Mitra.

“He behaved like an absconder. If the court wouldn’t have ordered then he might not have surrendered. The case should be investigated,” he said.

Joint Commissioner of Police of the Anti Corruption Branch (ACB), Mukesh Kumar Meena, has claimed receiving complaints that Sisodia’s relatives were given contracts of the government advertisements. (ANI)
