Jabalpur: Aamir Khan’s remark on ‘rising intolerance’ in India might be engaged in verbal duel, but a couple from Jabalpur had so powerful difference of opinion on the statement that resulted in wife ending her life by consuming poison.
According to a report published in News18, Ayank Pandey and his wife Sonal, resident of Lahri apartment had a heated debate over Aamir Khan’s intolerance remarks which soon turned into full fledged fight between the two.
Irated Sonal later consumed poison and was hurried to hospital where she died during treatment in spite of hectic efforts from the doctors for saving her.
Kotwali police registered a case into the death and the body was sent for autospy.
The police started investigating the issue by recording statements of the family members.
