9-hour power supply by April: Minister

Agriculture Minister Pocharam Srinivas Reddy today assured the farmers of providing nine-hour power supply free of cost from next April.

Participating in election campaigning for Warangal bypoll in a few villages, the minister said the KCR government had taken up several welfare schemes. He appealed to the people to see the development programs and welfare schemes being implemented in the State and then vote in favour of the TRS candidate P Dayakar.

“The State government would certainly fulfill its promise of nine-hour uninterrupted power supply to the agriculture sector as promised”, he said. He appealed to the people to vote for Dayakar, who will be available with them to address their issues. He said the Opposition parties could not find even suitable candidates for the bypoll.

Srinivas Reddy condemned the comments of the Opposition leaders against the TRS Government. They are making derogatory remarks just for the political gain, he said. The TRS Government is committed for the welfare of the poor and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao was implementing the schemes which were not mentioned in its manifesto, he added. (NSS)
