600 women from Vaidpura covered under PM’s Surakhsa Yojna

Greater Noida: While promoting Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Yojna, Union minister Mahesh Sharma today visited Vaidpura villages where he got 600 women covered under the scheme.

He inaugurated the two rooms at Sant Vinoba Inter College and scout guiding exhibition at Vaidpura. He also felicitated the teachers and social workers there.

Following this, he visited several villages in Dadri and heard locals’ problems and discussed the development works.

At village Milk Lachhi, Kisan Sangarsh Samiti members gave memorandum demanding restoration of panchayat elections in Gautam Buddha Nagar district.

At present, the panchayat elections are being held in the state but Gautam Buddha Nagar has been excluded on court directions.

Meanwhile today evening District Magistrate NP Singh at his camp office at Noida reviewed the progress of women security Karate training scheme which was operation in several school in first phase.

The DM has directed the officers to impart Karate training to girls on priority.
