40 foreign ministers to attend OSCE meet in Belgrade

Belgrade: The meeting of the ministerial council of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) will bring more than 40 foreign ministers to Serbia on December 3-4.
More than 1,000 representatives of state delegations will gather for the 22nd OSCE Ministerial Council, OSCE chairperson and Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic.
He added one of the main topics of this year’s meeting will be the fight against terrorism.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, US Secretary of State John Kerry, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini, and Secretary General of the Council of Europe Thorbjorn Jagland are expected to attend.
Serbia has allocated $3.18 million for the organisation of the meeting, while another 500,000 euros was added by the OSCE secretariat, Dacic said.
The meeting will mark the end of the Serbia’s chairmanship of the OSCE.
