Saudi religious police arrested 35 Asians for hosting a “depraved” and “loud” birthday party near the sacred city of Makkah.

According to sources the 25 men and 10 women were reportedly celebrating the birthday of one of them, when the Saudi religious police busted them for dancing to the tunes of loud music and consuming drinks and drugs.

Saudi news reported that the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and the Prevention of Vice claimed that they have seized large quantities of drugs and alcohol from the revellers.

Many took on social demanding the authorities severely punish the arrested before they are deported back to their countries as they hold a “depraved party” near the holy city of Makkah.

Saudi Arabia has one of the strictest laws, when it comes to consumption of alcohol and drugs. Drinking alcohol is considered a serious crime, and the punishment sometimes goes up to 500 lashes. The same punishment applies to drug use as well.
