3 killed as IIM Indore’s boundary wall collapses

Wednesday, 5 August, Indore: A woman and two minor boys were killed on Wednesday when a portion of the boundary wall of Indian Institute of Management Indore collapsed due to heavy rains and fell over an adjacent hut.

A portion of the boundary wall collapsed due to heavy rains, killing a woman and two other minor boys in Pigamdambar area, Kishanganj Police Station in-charge, Rakesh Modi said.

The deceased, who were relatives, have been identified as Seema (40), Lucky (12) and Kalu (16), he said, adding, investigations are underway. The hut was constructed possibly by encroaching land adjacent to IIM Indore’s boundary wall, the police official said.
