Telangana government has issued a budget of 3.78 Cr. for Minority Welfare Department. Secretary Finance K Ram Krishna Rao issued orders in this connection. The fund has been sanctioned to study the social and economic condition of minorities and to review the implementation of schemes for the welfare of Minorities. The budget has been sanctioned under planned expenditure for the financial year 2015-16. Director Minority Welfare has been given responsibility to spend the budget.
