22-year-old Babar known as youngest headmaster started school at the age of nine; Karnataka’s Pre-University textbook has a chapter on him

West Bengal: Babar Ali, a twenty-two-year old student of Master in English Literature popularly known as youngest headmaster of the world started a school in his village when he was nine-year-old.

Babar started a school, Ananda Siksha Niketan in backward village by name Bhabta located at Beldanga in Murshidabad in West Bengal when he was nine years old with only eight students. Now the school has the strength of 300 students and 10 teachers.

Babar who himself is a student of Master in English Literature in Berhampore Krishanath College use to take classes in the afternoon. He said that it all started when he used to teach his sister and later some children of the village. He also said that now his six students started teaching in his school after their college hours. Babar’s dream is to build a school building.

Karnataka Government even introduced a chapter on him in the book of pre-university because of which various people from Karnataka have supported him morally and financially.
