2 SEMI members granted bail

The 14th additional chief metropolitan magistrate at Nampally criminal courts on Thursday granted bail to 2 members of Students Islamic Movement of India (SEMI) belonging to Maharashtra.

Gopalpuram police had arrested Shah Muddasir Talha and Shoaib Ahmed Khan at Secunderabad railway station on October 22, 2014 when they were reportedly leaving from Hyderabad to join Daish. The court, while granting the bail, asked the accused to furnish of Rs. 25000 each and deposit their passports.

SIT had opposed the bail petitions to SEMI members but after the argument of lawyer in defence granted bail to both of them.
