2 pilgrims belonging to Telangana and Andhra Pradesh each, died in Makkah Mukarrama on Sunday. Special Officer Telangana State Hajj Committee Prof. S A Shukoor told that Mr. Qazi Mohammed Lateef Sayeed (retd. postmaster) S/O Qazi Mohammed Sayeed died due to heart attack at the age of 64. He left for Jeddah to perform Hajj on September 4, along with his wife Mrs. Wajida Nafees. After returning to Makkah from Mina his health deteriorated. He was rushed to the hospital where he died. He is survived by wife, two sons and two daughters. Burial will take place at Jannatul Mualla, Makkah Mukarrama. Details can be had on phone nos 9848028204 & 9700584724.
Another pilgrim Mrs. Saira Banu W/O Mr. Shaikh Maqbool, (55) belonging to Islampet, Tanali, Guntur district died in Al-Noor Hospital, Makkah Mukarrama. She collapsed on 10th Zul Hijja, at Mina. She was shifted to the Indian Mission hospital from where she was shifted to Al-Noor hospital on doctors’ advice. Her husband Mr. Shaikh Maqbool is unwell hence she had gone to Hajj along with her nephews. She is survived by husband, two sons and a daughter.
