2 pilgrims of Andhra go missing after crane mishap


2 pilgrims of Andhra Pradesh are said to be missing following the crane crash mishap occurred in Makkah Mukarrama the day before yesterday. Besides them, 3 pilgrims of Telangana are said to be injured. Special Officer Telangana Hajj Committee Prof. S A Shukoor told that Abdul Qader of Guntur and his wife Hayat Fatima Begum had gone to Friday prayers in Haram Shareef however they did not return to their room. Saudi Arabian government has issued the list of deceased and injured persons in the accident but names of the persons in question do not include in that. Telangana Hajj Committee has informed Indian Consulate and Hajj Mission officials regarding this. Two more family members had gone for Hajj along with the missing couple who are safe. It is believed that the couple might have lost way due to stampede following the crane crash accident.
