Jogeshwari: A 16-year-old girl from Jogeshwari has alleged that she was gang raped by her friend and others, three times in the last 20 days.
According to the police, girl in her statement said that she was given a drink and then the three accused rape her one after other. She also claimed that accused has threatened to kill her parents if she did not do what he wishes.
Narrating how she met the accused, victim said that in the month of September when she was waiting for an autorickshaw to go to college accused stopped his motorbike, snatched her cell phone and dialed his number using her cell phone, after which he started calling her. When his sister pleaded to meet him, victim said she met him. She claimed that accused offered her a drink, after drinking she went into half sleep condition. She said that taking advantage of the situation he raped her. She added that two other men also joined him to rape her. She also claimed that during second and third incident, he threatened that if she tried to resist him, he will kill her father.
However, when the victim started suffering from stomach pains, told her mother about the exploitation that she faced. On knowing the exploitation, victim’s mother took her to the Oshiwara police station.
After recording the statement, Oshiwara police arrested accused, a resident of Jogeshwari.
