13,000 panchayats to be involved in Amravati’s foundation ceremony

The Foundation Ceremony of Amaravati, the People’s Capital, will be organized by involving all the villagers from all the Districts in the State, a decision was taken in the last Cabinet Meeting, Chief Secretary I.Y.R. Krishna Rao said.

The Chief Secretary convened video conference with all the District Collectors to alert the District Officials for involving the people in the Foundation Ceremony Amaravati to be held on 22nd October 2015 at 12.45 p.m. He informed that the Foundation Ceremony will be celebrated by involving the people from 13000 Panchayats in the State by collecting Water and Mud from 3000 Municipal Wards for this Ceremony.
