12% reservations to Muslims: ordinance demanded

reservations to Muslims

Secretary Telangana Pradesh Congress Mohammed Javeed Ahmed told that due to non-issuance of ordinance for 12 percent reservations to Muslims by the government Muslims will be deprived of 1242 government jobs. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao who promised to provide 1 lakh jobs each year has sanctioned only 15522 government jobs in 14 months, while in the month of July, he had promised to issue notification for recruitment on 25000 government jobs but failed to do so. He claimed that the meeting of the committee led by D Sudhir to review educational, social and economic condition of minorities is just an eyewash. He claimed that the meeting will in no way benefit Muslims in government jobs unless ordinance is passed for Muslim reservation.
