12% reservations ensure development and prosperity for Muslims

Hyderabad: The campaign for 12% reservations to Muslims started by Siasat Urdu Daily is getting intensified day-by-day. The wave of this campaign has become strong in the districts of Telangana. It will further be intensified after Eid-ul-Azha. In various districts of Telangana State, protest was recorded and rallies were also organized. Representations are being made to Tehsildars and Peoples’ Representatives. Muslims are strengthening this movement rising above sectarian differences. They presumed that 12% reservation will ensure development and prosperity for Muslim youths. Since Mr. KCR himself has promised to provide 12% reservations to Muslims, it is therefore necessary to exert pressure on him to fulfill his promise.

 

Muslim Ulema have also opined that every Muslim should associate himself to get this right. This campaign should be continued till 12% reservations are announced. Various groups and parties have demanded the Govt. to constitute BCs Commission and reservation should be provided on the basis of its recommendations.

 

Memoranda were presented to Govt. officials in Telangana districts. Adilabad Youth Welfare Society welcomed the campaign started by Siasat Urdu Daily and decided to continue struggle till the reservations are implemented. A meeting was held which was attended Mr. Mohammed Mohsin, Mr. Afzal Mohammed Khan and others. In Narsapur town of Medak district a delegation led by Mr. Habeeb Khan, President of Muslim Welfare Society of Narsapur presented a memorandum to Mr. Mohammed Anwar Ali, Tehsildar of Narsapur. A meeting of the Imams of Mosques was held at Patlam in which the campaign started by Siasat Urdu Daily was applauded. Maulana Syed Abdul Ghani, Mufti Shaik Jamsheed, Maulana Mohammed Asad and others decided to continue struggle till implementations are declared.

 

Mr. Mohammed Imtiyaz, President of Muslim Youth Committee of Wanaparthi, Mahboob Nagar District presented a memorandum to RDO. In Koratla, a delegation led by Mr. Mohammed Riyaz, Counselor of the Municipality presented a memorandum to Tehsildar of Koratla. In Khanapur of Adilabad district, Muslim youths took out a cycle rally after Zohar prayer from NTR Chowk and presented a memorandum in Tehsil Office. The members of Safa Baitul Mal also participated in the procession.

 

A delegation of Muslims led by Mr. Mohammed Mahmood Afsar, President of Itahad-e-Millat-e-e-Islamia, Jagtiyal presented a memorandum to former Congress MP of Nizamabad, Mr. Madhu Goud Yashki and reminded him to exert his pressure as opposition member on the Govt. of Telangana.
