12% reservation for Muslims campaign will echo in Telangana from Nizamabad – Amer Ali Khan

Hyderabad: News Editor of Siasat Urdu Daily, Mr. Amer Ali Khan told that the 12% reservation campaign for Muslims which started from Nizamabad should echo in all the districts of Telangana State. Muslims should join themselves with this movement rising above their political associations. He was addressing a public meeting organized by Siasat Urdu Daily and Muslim Empowerment at King’s Function Hall, Nizamabad. Mr. KCR had promised that he would provide 12% reservation to Muslims in the fields of Education and Employment. This movement has been started to exert pressure on him to fulfill his promise. It is yielding positive results. Muslims are making representations in large numbers to District Collectors and Tahsildars. Muslims played a key role in Telangana Movement and therefore they are hopeful that Mr. KCR would translate his promise into action. He mentioned that the report of Sudher Committee will not be useful. If Govt. is serious about providing 12% reservation to Muslims, it should conduct a comprehensive survey through BCs Commission.
